Toyo pairs a high-grip, silica-reinforced tread compound with an arrowhead directional tread pattern and an extra-wide footprint to help support steering response and wet-road traction. The Proxes R1R also uses Multi-Width EVAC channels and a reinforced internal construction to help stabilize the footprint during hard cornering, braking, and quick acceleration.
This is a summer-only tire, so it should not be used in freezing temperatures, on ice, or in snow.
